In one of the deadliest attacks on emergency workers in the world in years, Israeli troops killed 15 Palestinian first responders and buried them in a mass grave.
Israel has begun the final stage of its genocide. The Palestinians will be forced to choose between death or deportation. There are no other options.
‘Gaza Ceasefire Hangs by a Thread’: Israel’s blocking of humanitarian aid to Gaza is an obvious step towards resuming its genocidal campaign, with full US support, risking regional conflagration. It has been said and written many times that the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza is “the first live broadcast war” in history. And that, as a result of this historic first, no one can now claim ignorance of what is happening in Palestine. Few, however, have asked themselves: thanks to whom was this war broadcast live? What follows is a tribute to all those who did so at the risk of their lives…
‘The Great March of Hope: Gaza’s Defiance against Erasure’; ‘The Life Expectancy of Palestinians Fell by 11.5 years in the First Three Months of the Genocide’; ‘The Western Way of Genocide’; and: ‘In the West Bank, Another “Gaza Genocide” Unfolds’.
“Dear World: This is What Palestinian Unity Looks Like”: This unity is visible in the millions of Palestinians who have demonstrated against the war, chanted for Gaza, cried for Gaza, and developed a new political discourse around it. Trump’s musings immediately invited questions about whether the president sees Gaza as a potential real estate investment opportunity.

After Israel’s protracted genocide in Gaza, the ceasefire delivers a devastating victory for the Palestinian resistance and a smug defeat for Israelis, who were forced to cough up unprecedented concessions, leaving Hamas whole and the strip unoccupied.
A study came out in December that made me cry. Written in a clinical style, nothing about the language should have impacted me in the way that it did. Put simply, the study said: every single child in Gaza feels that they are going to die. What more needs to be said? But there is more to say.
