Top and Bottom of the World Hit Record High Temperatures; 41% of World’s Amphibians Threatened with Extinction

Both the top (Switzerland) and the bottom (Antarctica) of the world hit record high temperatures, simultaneously. There’s no known record of this ever happening before. Also: A study published in the scientific journal Nature found that two out of every five amphibians are threatened with extinction.
