The Chilean government has finally agreed to a process of constitutional reform. Though the government is trying to sabotage the process, it’s a historic opportunity, won by millions of Chileans taking to the streets, to step out from the long shadow of Pinochet’s dictatorship.
The pandemic is not responsible for the unemployment crisis in the country, it has only worsened it. An estimation of the extent of unemployment in the country before the pandemic struck.

The year 2020 has also been marked by the destruction of the democratic rights organizations of India, as part of a vicious plan of the BJP government to irreparably shrink the democratic space for a future that we can only tremble to think about.
