‘Of Dignity and Solidarity’. Also: Poem – ‘Never Forget’.
May this Christmas season be a time when humankind, as a whole, can aspire to a just world where death and destruction are left behind and an authentic peace be positioned through constant dialogue.
A death toll of 20,000–25,000 out of a population of just over 2 million means that more than one out of 100 people in Gaza has been killed in the past two-and-a-half months. Also: “A Last Day in the Life of a Mother from Gaza”.
‘Arms, Ethnic Domination, Choking Dissent: Why India Is Embracing the Israel Model’: From refusing to recognise Israel to making Tel Aviv a key ally, India’s trajectory reflects a questioning of its very foundations. Also: ‘What’s Similar Between Hindutva and Zionism’.
The fallacy of the thought that there are military solutions to what are essentially political issues has a name. It is called militarism. Not just in Israel, but throughout the world, the curse of militarism is stalking us, and could well end civilization, even eradicate complex life on Planet Earth.
‘The Red Sea Is Now the Second Front in the Gaza War’: A conflict has been raging in the Red Sea which could transform Israel’s war on Gaza into a regional conflict. Also: ‘US’ War on Terror Against Houthis Is Smoke and Mirrors’.
‘‘Let It Be a Tale’: Israel Kills the Storytellers of Gaza But Will Not Kill the Story’; To Refaat Alareer: In response to Refaat al Areer’s poem, ‘If I Must Die’.

As the numbers of the dead and displaced increase, a sense of numbness grows. It began with a hundred dead, then a hundred more, and is rapidly escalating into the tens of thousands. It is difficult to wrap one’s head around these numbers unless there are stories attached to each of the dead and displaced.
This slogan, raised at pro-Palestine demonstrations around the world, has attracted a great deal of ignorant criticism.
