The Thai government has been escalating its attacks on democracy activists over the past weeks; but the student led movement is showing no sign of being cowed by the repression.
A week after the Thai regime issued an emergency decree banning gatherings of more than five people, the Free Youth student-led democracy movement has been staging nightly mass gatherings around the country.
On August 10, thousands of students rallied in Bangkok, in the largest of a string of mass student-led protests.
