Will Israel Ever be Held Accountable?

Twenty-five countries are now on the U.S. Treasury Department Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions list. However, one country, despite all its malfeasance, has been left out. And that is Israel.
It’s vital that people worldwide persuade governments to promote global peace and justice instead of wars and military domination which inevitably lead to tragedies like the one which occurred last week in the Mediterranean Sea.
Social inequality, neo-colonial war, the growth of authoritarianism and anti-immigrant hysteria, the debasement of official politics and the media—there is “a world of meaning … in the sad circumstances” (Debs) of these two contrasting episodes.
